T-Mobile Flies Its Social Justice Flag At The Super Bowl And People Are Angry

The Super Bowl is in the history books and the Philadelphia Eagles are the world champions for the first time in team history, but they were not the only ones to make news during the game.

As usual the advertisements were a major part of the game and drew a pointed response from social media. In particular, the ad from cellular telephone company T-Mobile had conservatives outraged.

The company made it known that it has taken the side of progressives in the battle for the soul of America.

The ad showed two babies who, the company believes, will grow into adulthood in a more progressive America.

“Welcome to the world, little ones. Yeah, it’s a lot of take in. But you come with open minds and the instinct that we are equal,” narrator Kerry Washington said as “We are equal” appeared on the screen.

“Some people may see your differences and be threatened by them,” the ad continued. “But you are unstoppable. You’ll love who you want, you’ll demand fair and equal pay, you will not allow where you come from to dictate where you’re going. You will be heard, not dismissed, you will be connected, not alone. Change starts now.”

The company took heat on Twitter for the statement.
