Chomsky: The Left’s Crisis of Democracy

After the Vietnam War and the 1960’s elite’s were concerned about what they called “The Crisis of Democracy”. This sentiment was on both sides of the political spectrum but this particular phrase refers to the “left” organization, The Trilateral Commission, and their report The Crisis of Democracy. They argued the 60’s had too much democracy and thus efforts were needed to control the population.
