BBC Fake Video, Critics Argue Video Looks Like It’s Staged

Critics are calling a BBC video filmed in Syria fake. Judge for yourself.

BBC caught a lot of criticism for altering the words of a female doctor in a video report. She is reporting from Atareb Hospital, (in Aleppo on 26 August 2013), after a bombing at a nearby school. In one BBC video she describes the attack as a napalm attack. In a later BBC video, the same exact footage is used but the doctor now describes the attack as a result of chemical weapons.

The main issue of concern regarding this video is not with the word choice of the doctors but with what some are calling staged acting towards the end of the video.

Skip to the 1 minute 30 mark in the video where we see a room full of injured civilians. To be critics the video looks like a fake scene from a zombie apocalypse. Everyone comes to life and starts screaming after the camera starts rolling.

There is a full and very lengthy analysis of this particular bombing incident and the related footage that looks into the possibility that it is entirely a hoax. It’s long analysis and it’s a bit of a rabbit hole that may make you go crazy but there are many interesting points brought up in the analysis.

Additionally, there are allegations that the doctor in the video, Dr. Rola Hallam, has ties to the Syrian opposition. Dr. Hallam is reported to be on the executive team of Hand in Hand Syria, which was co-founded and run by a man named Faddy Sahloul. Mr. Sahloul’s Facebook Page had a banner stating “We will bring Assad to justice; no matter what lives it takes, no matter how much catastrophe it makes.” You can read more about Dr. Rola Hallam on wikispooks too here: https://wikispooks.com/wiki/Dr_Rola.

Watch the video, make up your own mind.
