March For Our Lives Became March For Our Democrat Votes and No One Cares

If you believed that the March For Our Lives was only about kids wanting gun legislation reform, you were proven incorrect on Saturday.

That was when students and others gathered around the nation for the first March For Our Lives events, but it was the others who caught the attention of many.

The others included a treasure trove of celebrities who could not wait to get their faces in front of the cameras or have their voices heard on stage.

And it included the banners from “Everytown For Gun Safety” emblazoned at the marches nationwide, far from the grassroots movement it was described to be.

Celebrities in the crowd included Kanye West, Kim Kardashian West, Steven Spielberg, Nick Offerman, Paul McCartney, Dennis Rodman, Jimmy Fallon, George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney.

On stage were rapper Common, Jennifer Hudson, Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus, who managed to take time from grinding her crotch against giant foam finger to preach to American about the Constitution and gun legislation.

The event was also backed with money in the form of $500,000 from the Clooneys, another $500,000 from Oprah Winfrey and millions more donated by others.

And it sounded even less like a teen event when the speakers, like David Hogg, Cameron Kasky, Emma Gonzalez and others continued to preach to the audience that they needed to register to vote out supporters of the National Rifle Association, who are all Republicans.

“Let’s take this to our local legislators and let’s take this to midterm elections,” Hogg said. “Because without the persistent heat, without the persistence of voters and Americans everywhere getting out to every election, democracy will not flourish.”

McCartney got in on the political act as well.

“Get out and vote,” he said on a video that circulated on social media, as he flashed his tshirt that read “End Gun Violence.”

“You can make the change,” the Beatle said. “It’s up to you.”

The video was shot by the assistant treasurer of the Democrat National Committee, Lorna Mae Johnson.

The March For Our Lives website also attempts to get people to register to vote on its main page.

All of this is fine, and it is these students, celebrities and groups right as Americans to speak about whatever issue they want to. Particularly the kids who experienced the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

What is not fine is that it sounded suspiciously like a Democrat run campaign more than it did a grassroots movement by teens. And using kids who have been in a tragedy to push your political agenda is about as loathsome as it gets.

Too bad you had to put your political spin on this instead off just letting it be about kids marching for the right to be safe in schools!

Republican always seem to find fault in anything that doesn’t support their narrative of selfish, greedy, self-serving sociopathic behavior!

Did you go to any of the events? I can not imagine you would say this if you did. It was the kids. Did they have logistical help? Yes did they have financial help? Yes. Have you ever organized a demonstration? It was theirs!! And it was all about registering and voting for those who support their agenda.
