A Georgia candidate for the House of Representatives ranted about his hatred for the county he is running to represent when he was arrested for drunk driving, and now it could sink his campaign.

Police dash camera footage revealed that six months prior to beginning his campaign, Steven Lamar Foster, 61, went into a tirade against Whitfield County in Georgia when he was apprehended on Sept. 23, 2016.

“Eleven years I served this county. I hate this county. I prayed to God that he would curse it. And guess what? He did,” Foster said in the video.

“Man, I saw it hit and cursed, and I saw people laid off right and left – white people. I hate this county …” he said.

Foster counted in Spanish when he was asked by the police to walk a straight line. He also bragged of his time in South America and how he has been in jail in many nations. He then demanded his blood samples be sent to the CIA when police asked him if he would provide them.

“Go right ahead, I’ve had them pinched before by Colombian police. I’ve been in jail in six damn countries and the state of Mississippi,” he said.

He continued his racist rant by insisting the police would not arrest him if he was Hispanic or Arab.

“It’s all right, they can’t help it. They’re not going to arrest no Hispanics. They are not going to arrest somebody that is a damn Arab. They are not going to do that,” he said as the police placed him in handcuffs.

In another part of the video he threatened “I’ll never drink in Dalton, Georgia, again.”

But Foster continues to be on the ballot. Foster is running as a Democrat against Republican incumbent Tom Graves for Georgia’s 14th Congressional District seat.

“He would not have taken this to trial if he had thought he would be found guilty. I have no comment to make other than that. He’s still in the race. He seems more determined than ever to continue,” Democratic 14th Congressional District Dan Lovingwood told The Daily Daily-Citizen News.
