The White Helmets: Nobel Peace Prize Worthy Or Propaganda Artists With Jihadi Ties?

The White Helmets: Nobel Peace Prize Worthy Or Propaganda Artists With Jihadi Ties?

Should we give the White Helmets a Nobel Peace Prize or are they the propaganda arm of ISIS in Syria?

Trying to sort through the mess of information and news these days to find the truth is enough to drive you crazy. We shifted our focus to the White Helmets after the recent escalation in Syria and given that we had heard rumors about their links to terrorists organizations. So we did some research. We present our findings below and provide links so you can look up the sources and make up your own mind. There is at least one instance where we feel confident enough to say that they have lied about their operations to the public. Given that they are supposedly an independent humanitarian aid organization but now knowing they have no problems lying and given the rest of the evidence below we believe them to be a fake organization and possibly supporting ISIS/Al Nusra. What is worrisome is that not only does the United States and the United Kingdom give them millions of dollars (which we now question what that money is actually used for) but “the West” tends to use their images, videos, and reports as evidence for what is happening in Syria. We believe funding of the White Helmets should be immediately stopped and an investigation into their organization should commence. Again, this is what we believe, read the evidence below and make up your own mind. Research further as well and let us know if you find anything we should be aware of.

(Note the above/featured photo depicts The White Helmet network showing primary funding sources and White Helmet founder, James Le Mesurier, connections back to “deep state”.)

  1. The White Helmets Twitter Lie (account @syriacivildef)

The first thing we found was a split screen of a 2015 tweet by the White Helmets that actually used a a photo from 2013. The White Helmets tweet in August 19, 2015 that they just arrived on the scene of the blast. Accompanying the tweet is a photo which gives evidence of the blast. Problem is when you search for that image on the internet that same exact image appears in 2013 news reports. You can do the search yourself. Go to Twitter and search for the phrase “arrived at the scene of the blast” and the White Helmets tweet will show up. Now save the image in the tweet to your desktop or drag it to your desktop. Go to images.google.com and drag that image into the search. You will see in the results that articles containing that image show up from both 2015 and 2013 main stream news sources. The LA Times, CBS and NBC all use that image in 2013 news reports.

  2. Swedish Doctors For Human Rights Confirm Fake ‘Lifesaving’ and Malpractices on Children

Warning, watching the video footage mentioned in this is disturbing to watch. An organization called the Swedish Doctors For Human Rights investigated a video shared by the White Helmets that shows White Helmet rescue workers attempting to save child victims of a recent attack. The website for the Swedish Doctors states “(they are) an independent, non-profit, non-partisan, non-governmental organization engaged in the research and reporting on the effects of war-crimes, torture and human-rights transgressions on civilian populations or on individuals.” In the video the Doctors reviewed a White Helmets worker can be seen inserting a needle into the heart of a baby, supposedly in an attempt to save the baby’s life. However, not only does the doctor seem to oddly handle and maneuver the needle it appears that the liquid in the needle is never actually injected. You can read the Swedish Doctors’ report here. You can watch the video the Swedish Doctors made analyzing the White Helmets video and which includes the video of the needle being inserted into the baby here.

Additionally the Swedish Doctors point out that two videos of this same exact baby-saving footage were uploaded at the same time on the same day to YouTube. One video had the logo of the White Helmets in the video, the other had the logo of the jihadist Shahada flag used by Al-Qaeda. I could not find these original videos on YouTube so I have to go by the Swedish Doctors’ reports of this account of the two videos being uploaded at the same time with the two different logos.

  3. Photographer Behind Boy In Ambulance Photo & His Questionable Friends

Google Mahmoud Raslan and you will find more pictures and videos of this. In fact three men, not just two, in Raslan’s selfie also are in the video of the Palestinian boy beheading.

We were all outraged and moved by the photo of the little Syrian boy, Omran, seemingly injured and stunned sitting in an ambulance and staring out blankly at the world while White Helmet rescuers move around him. The photographer of that photo is named Mahmoud Raslan. The questions here are with Raslan, a supposedly independent journalist. Searches of his Facebook profile (by other news organizations as his profile does not seem to be active anymore) revealed photos of him with jihadists and comments where he praises suicide bombers. In one photo he takes a smiling selfie with a group of armed members of the Zenki militant group. The same men in that photo with Raslan appear to be the same men who only two weeks earlier are on video beheading a 12 year old Palestinian boy. (Also, note the Zenki group have in the past been supplied weapons by the U.S., although they are said to no longer be receiving such funds). The caption Raslan posted with his selfie states “When you see the leaders on the front, know that victory is coming, with God’s permission. From besieged Aleppo, wherein they all have their faces blackened”. So the independent journalist takes a selfie with and praises men who only two weeks earlier are on video beheading a 12 year old boy in the back of a pick up truck. There are more suspect photos and comments on Raslan’s Facebook profile which you can read about here.

  4. White Helmets Living Next Door to Al Qaeda in Aleppo

A French humanitarian named Pierre Le Corf, based in Aleppo for one year, videotaped and posted to YouTube video of the supposed destroyed headquarters of Nusra (Al Qaeda in Syria) and the White Helmets. His video shows the White Helmets logo printed on the same buildings that contain the Al Qaeda logo. In one instance an illustration on a wall of the White Helmets in action is located directly below the Al Qaeda flag. What the video appears to show us is both groups, the White Helmets and Al Qaeda, living in very close quarters together. Watch the video here.

  5. Footage of the Lack of Impartiality of The White Helmets

If you go to YoutTube and search “White Helmets fake” all sorts of videos and montages come up. The above video is one of the best compilations of evidence against the White Helmets. The video footage suggests that they are neither impartial nor unarmed. Jump to about 1 minute into the video to see the footage I am specifically referring to. At about the 1 minute mark a man in a White Helmet begins talking and states that they take the bodies of the Syrian army soldiers and dump them in the trash. There is also this photo from an article by 21st Century Wire that shows White Helmets making the peace sign while they stand over dead bodies in the back of a pick up truck. The bodies are presumed to be Syrian soldiers. Going back to the above video, at the 1 minute 14 second mark you see men in White Helmet uniforms holding some kind of Ak-47 gun. At the 1 minute 26 second mark you see White Helmet workers celebrating with a crowd of armed men waving the Al Nusra (Al Qaeda in Syria) flag. The White Helmet workers even take the flag from the armed men and wave it themselves. Although this video cuts out the scene where the White Helmet themselves wave the Nusra flag we have included this still shot of it.

  6. Photo Stockpile of White Helmet Workers Also Appearing as Armed Soldiers

If you go to this link you will see a large photo cache of men who are dressed in White Helmet outfits in some pictures and then later dressed in military outfits with armed weapons in other pictures. https://clarityofsignal.com/2017/02/27/massive-white-helmets-photo-cache-proves-hollywood-gave-oscar-to-terrorist-group/

  7. Fake Looking Video From BBC Report

The BBC caught a lot of criticism for the above report for altering the words of the female doctor in the clip. She is reporting from Atareb Hospital, (in Aleppo on 26 August 2013), after a bombing at a nearby school. In one BBC video she describes the attack as a napalm attack. In a later BBC video, the same exact footage is used but the doctor now describes the attack as a result of chemical weapons. This isn’t the main concerning issue here, one possibility is the doctor said both napalm and chemical attack in the original footage and the video was edited to fit the BBC’s story. Another explanation of course is that there could be two takes of the footage which would be odd in a crisis situation. Either way it is of course shoddy and questionable of the BBC to edit the words of the witness to fit their narrative. What I want to point out is the footage at the end of the video around the 1 minute 30 mark where we see a room full of injured civilians. To be blunt and in my opinion of course, it looks like a fake scene from a zombie apocalypse. Everyone comes to life and starts screaming after the camera starts rolling.

There is actually a full and very lengthy analysis of this particular bombing incident that looks into the possibility that it is entirely a hoax. It’s long and it’s a rabbit hole that may make you go crazy but there are many interesting points brought up in the analysis. There are also allegations that the doctor in the video, Dr. Rola Hallam, has ties to the Syrian opposition. Dr. Hallam is reported to be on the executive team of Hand in Hand Syria, which was co-founded and run by a man named Faddy Sahloul. Mr. Sahloul’s Facebook Page had a banner stating “We will bring Assad to justice; no matter what lives it takes, no matter how much catastrophe it makes.” You can read more about Dr. Rola Hallam on wikispooks too here: https://wikispooks.com/wiki/Dr_Rola. At this point my head was spinning from going too far down the rabbit hole and I didn’t pursue investigating her further.

Conclusion:

Who knows the truth anymore? You can go crazy researching and trying to find the truth, perhaps we will never know. There is plenty more you can research and find including video of Syrians saying the White Helmets are thieves and only work to provide aid for the terrorists/Nusra. That video can be found here, it comes from Russian news agencies which of course we have to question the partiality of. Who knows what side to believe anymore? Russian news reports do have reporters on the ground in Syria whereas US news outlets don’t seem to but perhaps I simply missed the reports from US journalists stationed in Syria. There are some reported independent journalists, by the names of Vanessa Beeley and Eva Bartlett, who have been in Syria multiple times who believe the White Helmets are fake. Bartlett, based on her talks with the Syrian people, is very vocal in her support for Assad and her belief that the Syrian War is in fact not a civil war and thus, some question her opinion of the White Helmets; but perhaps she is entirely right. Beeley reports that Syrians don’t know who the “White Helmets” are but when she says Civil Defense they respond ah yes, Nusra Civil Defense.

Personally, the Twitter lie was what did it for me. It made me see the White Helmets as liars and it makes the rest of the evidence more believable. How you view it is up to you. At the very least I strongly believe all western countries should stop sending millions of dollars to the White Helmets and should stop glorifying them and relying on their media for evidence in the Syrian war. An investigation into the validity of the White Helmets is a must given the West’s reliance on their information and their potential connections to terrorist organizations.

This is a great article. I had seen some bits about the cleric calling the White Helmets Mujahideen but hadn’t seen anything on this reporter before. Thank you for sharing. I will add it into our report.
