Kathy Griffin Brags About Bullying Woman, Then Takes Shot At White Women

Comedian Kathy Griffin took to Twitter on Saturday to brag about arguing with a member of President Donald Trump’s administration and her husband and, for good measure, she managed to take a shot at white women.

The comedian, who is arguably most famous for holding a mock severed head of the president and then having a press conference where she cried and said “he broke me,” told a story of what she said happened when she met White House aide Mercedes Schlapp and her husband Matt Schlapp, the president of the American Conservative Union, at the White House Correspondents Dinner last month.

Griffin said she was incensed when she heard that Mercedes Schlapp stood with Kelly Sadler, the White House communications aide who reportedly responded to the news that Arizona Sen. John McCain would not support President Trump’s nominee to head the CIA, Gina Haspel, by saying “he’s dying anyway.”

“It’s story time….let’s talk about my encounter at the White House Correspondents Dinner with Mercedes & Matt Schlapp..DC’s most spineless power couple. I thought I was done talking about the dinner but learning that @mercedesschlapp stands w/ Kelly Sadler, well…here we go,” Griffin wrote to begin her rant.

“I went to the #WHCD for the first time this year…I ran into a lot of friends and also ran into complicit and criminal Trump apologists, supporters, and administration officials,” she said.

Griffin used the word “criminal” several times in her 19 tweet rant but she never explained what crimes anyone had committed. Although it likely does not matter to her as she knows her only chance to hang on to any relevancy is to be as anti-President Trump as possible. Being rational is not important to her.

“Mercedes and Matt come up to me…keep in mind I was surrounded by cameras when they did this..how convenient for them. Let me tell you something, I can promise you that the two of them will tell Trump and others they took me on. They’re a bunch of suck ups,” she wrote. “First thing Mercedes says to me is ‘I thought the comedian (meaning @michelleisawolf) was crass and humorless.’ I immediately thought to myself ‘You wanna go there? Game on, bitch.’”

Classy isn’t she?

“As soon as Mercedes says that she thought Michelle was crass and humorless I said ‘how do you sleep at night?’ And I went on to say ‘you are the typical white woman who held her nose to vote for Trump’ …which in my mind is the worst of the worst,” she said.

Yes Griffin, how dare any white woman defy you and vote for who they want? Who do they think they are? This approach is a fantastic way to win people to your side.

“There we were at deep state cocktails..and I go on to tell Mercedes that she’s a horrible representation of women That’s when Matt (remember he’s been silent the whole time), does a slow turn like a figure skater and starts to walk away..like ‘gurl you are on your own,” Griffin wrote.

This is a good time to point out to Griffin that she is not young and hip. Her use of “gurl” like she is an inner city teenager is the most humorous thing she is said in a decade.

“Later on that night we run into them again and I just had to say something to her….I said ‘you’re a horrible person..’ and the only thing she could come back to me with was ‘you’re vulgar!’” Griffin said, taking pride in the fact that she was harassing and bullying this woman. “After Trump ends up wherever he ends up they’ll find the next opportunity by selling their souls yet again…I can sleep at night @mercedesschlapp – your support of a monster and your hypocrisy will stick with you for the rest of your life.”

Matt Schlapp responded to Griffin’s unhinged rant with one sentence, and it was spot on. “Kathy I think it’s time to move on now I’m getting a bit worried. Go away from the light,” he said.

I disagree Matt. She has never been entertaining as a comedian, but her unhinged rants are comedy gold.
