Opioids: Prescription Genocide

The misallocation of opioid prescriptions has caused a national crisis. In 2017, there were about 58 opioid prescriptions written for every 100 Americans. While opioids have some valid medical uses, they are extremely addictive and cause more harm than good if taken long-term.
