President Kardashian? Reality Star Says Don’t Rule Her Out
Could there someday be a President Kim Kardashian in the Oval Office? The reality television star and newly minted criminal justice reform activist gave a shocking answer to that question on Saturday when she spoke to CNN’s Van Jones on “The Van Jones Show.”
Ten days after Alice Johnson received a presidential pardon from President Donald Trump after he met with Kardashian, who lobbied on her behalf, the reality star did not rule out the idea of one day becoming president herself.
“I don’t think that’s even on my mind,” she told Van Jones when asked if she would day run for office. But later she gave an answer that showed she was open to the idea.
“I guess never say never. But that’s not going to be like, Kim’s running. That’s not where I am,” she said.

She does not want anyone to think that means she is running for office, but that the possibility exists for her, or another celebrity, to win the presidency.
“That’s not what I’m going for,” Kardashian said. “I just want to help, starting with one person at a time. I think sometimes if more people would just put their personal feelings aside and talk about really important issues that have to be discussed, then so much more can get done.”
Kardashian said that he success in lobbying for Johnson has made her want to do more for other people who are in prison with, what she believes, are unfair sentences.
“I honestly saw that if I could use my platform just to do something for one person, that it opens the conversation for so much more and for other people to want to do the same thing,” she said.
“If more people would just put their personal feelings aside and talk about really important issues that have to be discussed, then so much more can get done,” she told Jones.
