Michelle Obama Smashes Trump Supporters In Vicious Attack
When a president wins an election the country is supposed to come together behind that president. Granted, there are going to be disagreements along the way as politics goes, but the way the deranged left is handling the election of President Donald Trump is outrageous. Never before have people from the previous administration worked to undermine the current president the way members of former President Obama’s have done to President Trump.
The latest, although she was not an official member of President Obama’s administration, is former first lady Michelle Obama. Far from the soft spoken grace an elegance of Laura Bush,
Obama has attacked the current president on more than one occasion. Her most recent attack came on Thursday at the Simmons Leadership Conference in Boston.
At that conference she not only attacked President Trump, she also took a shot at the people who support him.
It started when the former first lady was asked if she would ever consider running for president. And idea that she dismissed.
“Just because I gave a good speech, and I’m smart and intelligent doesn’t mean I should be the next president. That’s been our problem. We’re very shortsighted about how we think about selecting the commander in chief,” she said.
“[Barack Obama was like the] responsible parent — the one who told you to eat your carrots and go to bed on time. And now perhaps we have the other parent in the house,” Obama said.
And she believes people voted for President Trump because they thought he was the fun parent. Something new Hillary Clinton can add to the list of excuses for her stunning defeat.
“We thought it’d feel fun — maybe it feels fun for now because we can eat candy all day and stay up late and not follow the rules,” she said. “And we’re going to at that point in time look at those two experiences and see how we feel.”
It sounds like she confused President Trump with Sen. Bernie Sanders.
Whatever her reasons, it is unprecedented to hear a former first lady attack her husband’s successor, and that person’s supporters, in this way.
