The Portland Police Department shared photos on Twitter of an array of weapons seized at competing Portland protests in downtown. The two protests are located directly across the street from each other and have lined the street to shout back and forth. The competing protests are mainly made up of pro-Trump/MAGA supporters and anti-Trump counter-protesters, with a variety of other groups present including “antifa” and “alt-right” members. The crowd is reported to be in the thousands with at least three arrests made. While a contingency of the protestors are peaceful, numerous weapons have been confiscated and there are reports of projectiles being thrown.
