White Helmets Twitter Lie
A popular image that circulates around in the anti-White Helmets world is a split screen of two images that appear to catch the White Helmets lying on Twitter.
If you do an advanced Twitter search (just google advanced Twitter search) for the exact phrase “arrived at the scene of the blast” you will see a tweet from the White Helmets in 2015. We did this search ourselves around March or April of 2017. When we did the search the original Tweet from the White Helmets (@syriacivildef) still showed up, now for whatever reason only re-tweets of it show up.
What you are looking for is the same tweet as seen on the right of the split screen image at the top of this article. Some of the re-tweets that show up still show the original White Helmets Twitter lie.
Twitter changes, archives change and time changes so the exact White Helmets tweet might not be as easy to find anymore. We did record ourselves doing the online search and uploaded it to YouTube. We will make the video public if there is demand.
Once you have the White Helmets Twitter lie tweet you can do a reverse google image search, just as we did. Take the image in the White Helmets tweet and go to images.google.com and drop that photo in the search. What will show up are articles from 2013 by the LA Times, CBS News, NBC News and more that use that same exact photo that appears in the White Helmets tweet from 2015.
What the evidence appears to show is the White Helmets tweeting in 2015 that they “just arrived at the scene of the blast” but they illustrated this by using a photo printed in mainstream media back in 2013.
